Curriculum Vitae

Christopher Treiblmayr, born in 1975, studied history and german studies (including the teaching subjects), journalism and communication studies, philosophy, psychology and theatre studies at the universities of Vienna and Salzburg, the Center for Interdisciplinary Women's and Gender Studies at the Technical University of Berlin, the University of London and the University of California, Berkeley. 2009 PhD, 2008–2015 research associate and postdoc assistant at the Department of History, University of Vienna. Currently lecturer and habilitant at the same place as well as research associate at QWIEN-Centre for Gay/Lesbian Culture and History.

Activities related to the history of human rights and democracy

Research interests: History of human rights and civil society, particularly the history of international human rights leagues; human rights and National Socialism; gender and human rights; LGBTIQ rights; human rights and democracy in education.
